Tonight we were playing at our traditional first gig of the year, The New Year Ball for the Harrow and District Caledonian Society at Allum Manor House & Hall. Always a good way to start the year, especially with the evening in the very capable hands of Caroline Hamilton. A great start to 2026.

After missing last year due to refurbishment, the St. Andrews Ball is back and with 170 dancers packed into Broomhouse, and the usual mix of Reelers and Country Dancers, the vibrant atmosphere was as exciting as ever. It's good to be back! It was also lovely to welcome back Mary Felgate on fiddle to make up our 5 piece band.
